What is the Google Jamboard ? Jamboard is a cloud-based tool that allows real-time visual collaboration between users. To name two apparent use cases, this would enable Sync Teaching and support remote teaching and learning.
On each user's unique screen, this serves as a shared 'whiteboard.'
Here are some ideas on usage of jamboard:
- Model abilities such as arithmetic, painting, note-taking, and other talents that students can learn by modeling.
- In project-based learning, collaborate on projects–either with the teacher or with other students.
- Collaboratively brainstorm ideas for writing, projects, and more.
- Using inquiry-based learning, create a concept map of issues and solutions.
- Allow peer groups to collaborate in real-time in class or at home in a flipped classroom situation.
- Use as an online 'chalk board' to lead activities, check for understanding, and more during remote teaching and learning.
